These beautiful Handcarved Multicolor Mayan Jewelry Boxes were crafted by the living decendants of the Maya Indians in a Guatemala Village. Prior to working with
the Mayan Artist Network and the Tribal Mall, the works from this Mayan family had been sold exclusively at craft stands in Guatemala villages.
The small
handcarved wooden box is approximately 6½" wide by 4" tall and 5" deep. This tall wooden box is approximately 5" wide by 10 ½" tall and 4" deep. The Mayan Sun
and Moon are carved directly into the Front, Top and Sides.
These brightly painted boxes have been used by the Mayan Indians for centuries to store various
treasures of their village.
